Paloma gathers inspiration from the world around her to create her pieces. She loves to explore themes of heritage, religion, history, and food. Coming from a multicultural background herself she understands the importance of experiencing different communities of people and learning their histories. She strives to share how she’s viewed the world through her art. She likes to think of every piece as a piece of her personal history.

Since the age of 2, Paloma has been playing with paint. Although her college career started with her studying pre-law, her parents persuaded her to pursue art. Hesitant, she applied for one art school. And that following Fall she started studying Film and Animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

To continue her desire to experiment with different mediums, she spent her last semester studying fine art abroad at the University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins. There she was reintroduced to her childhood love of painting.

Upon returning to America, Paloma earned 2 academic awards and fellowships for her short films, featured in 2 art magazines, won an official film selection, and amassed over 11 million views online from her work.

After graduating, Paloma decided to return to Europe, currently residing in Paris, France to continue her career in the film and fine arts. Keep up with this journey on her instagram @palomathearts .
