La pintora española de origen americano, Paloma María Estévez, encuentra inspiración en el mundo que la rodea para crear sus piezas. Le encanta explorar temas de patrimonio, religión, historia y comida. Proveniente de un entorno multicultural, comprende la importancia de experimentar diferentes comunidades de personas y aprender sus historias. Se esfuerza por compartir cómo ve el mundo a través de su arte.
Spanish American artist, Paloma María Estévez, finds inspiration from the world around her to create her pieces. She loves to explore themes of heritage, religion, history, and food. Coming from a multicultural background, she understands the importance of experiencing different communities of people and learning their histories. She strives to share how she’s viewed the world through her art.
her storySince the age of 2, Paloma has been playing with paint.
Her love of the arts grew humanitarian in her teenage years, where she began hosting art classes for children who migrated from Central America and children who sought refuge from Southeast Asia. She spent her summers participating in environmental projects that ranged from; clearing out invasive plant species from national parks, and reviving urban gardens.
Originally she studied to become an international human rights lawyer, until her family persuaded her to follow her passion of painting.
Since then, Paloma earned a degree in Film and Animation from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and spent a season at Central Saint Martins studying Fine Art. Her mission is to spread the beauty of cultures, heritage, and history through her paintings.
